Check it out or get more from her online. www.hungry-girl.com Here's Lisa's Recipe 1 fat-free mayonnaise 2 t wasabi or less for milder sauce 1 lb fresh raw ahi/yellowfin tuna, finely chopped 1 extra large egg separated, or 3 T liquid egg whites 3 scallions chopped 1 1/2 T reduced-sodium/lite soy sauce 2 t ground ginger (or I use fresh finely chopped) 1 t dijon mustard dash black pepper 4 small hamburger buns, 80 calories each 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced. Combine mayonnaise and wasabi in small bowl. in a medium bowl combine tuna, egg white, scallions, soy sauce, ginger, mustard and pepper. Mix well. Using your hands, shape mixture into 4 patties, each about 4 inches wide. Fry in small pan over medium heat for 2 minutes each side. Place each patty on a bun with a little of the wasabi sauce. Seared ahi is one of California's most popular appetizer recipes. Impress your guests with this simple seared ahi tuna recipe for two. Its one of our favorite appetizer recipes. Seared Ahi Recipe 1 8 oz. ahi steak 1/4 cup Asian dipping sauce Preheat two washed and thoroughly dried river rocks on your grill over high heat for one hour. (Note of caution — only use very dry rocks when preparing this dish or they could explode.) Next, fill a heat resistant bowl with rock or ice cream sea salt With a sharp knife, cut the tuna into bit size slices. Slice the tuna into thin slices, going against the grain. After I bring my rocks off the grill. Set the pan on a hot pad or towel. Carefully place the hot stone into the salt rock. When serving your guests, be sure to put a hot pad under the bowl and remind your guests not to touch the rock. Place your sliced ahi on top of the rock and cook to your desired doneness. The rocks will keep their heat for about 15-20 minutes, allowing enough time to enjoy this quick and easy appetizer. You can also do this recipe with thin slices of steaks or scallops.
